I love every bit of it. Worth the money!
Just received my book today and I LOVE it! Being an American secondary English teacher and noted Anglophile, I do indeed Eat, Sleep, and Dream English. I am a huge fan of Tom and I find him so charming-he must have been a fabulous teacher. He is funny, insightful and kind. His book has helpful tips about the language. I think he must be helping many folks around the world to learn this crazy language that we share. I'm not sure if anyone here has seen the episode of the American television show, "Frasier," when the main character starts to hang out at a local pub in Seattle that caters to British expats. He begins to use all the British expressions: "Hold the lift!" and others. It's a riot and my family says it is like me. I am the Chair of my department and I've asked my staff to call me "Guv." I have used some of Tom's videos in my English and Speech classes at the high school where I teach. Thank you, Teacher Tom, for all the good you do!
I bought the PDF version first and the physical version as soon as it was in pre-order. It's an invaluable book for a foreigner who wants to dive in deeper into British English. It's also very fun to show and discuss with British people who usually start making their own examples and having loads of fun sharing their version of the words and expressions 😂
