The Perfect Guide!

I’m going on a trip to England this spring, and I purchased this book to get a better glimpse at the culture and the differences between American English and British English. And I must say, it’s certainly delivered so far! It’s expertly crafted with words, phrases, and definitions. But I also love the culture sections with suggestions on how to spend a few days in London, London food and drink, pub etiquette, etc. There’s something for everyone here. And I’ve really enjoyed the section of the differences between American and British English. This is the perfect guide to add to your list, whether you’re a language buff, wanting to learn English, or want more of a glimpse at the British culture, you won’t be disappointed. Thanks Tom!

A must-have book

It’s a very very complete book about the British slang language. It’s a real must-have for an English lover like me. Like we say in French it’s the little Jesus in a velvet knickers. Vincent
